Burway Road is a narrow (sometimes single-track) road with a very steep slope of up to 20%, lots of sheep, and a fairly steep incline on one side.
The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stretches almost a quarter of Shropshire, so you’re never far from some epic sights like these.
Hike To The Stiperstones
The Stiperstones is another phenomenal walking area in the Shropshire Hills. There is a 5.5-mile loop trail that starts at The Bog Centre and takes you on a route around the mysterious rock collection.
One of the most famous places is the Devil’s Chair. According to legend, the stones were thrown there by the devil himself. There are also some interesting stories about witches and ghosts visiting this area.
